Employment Alert: Massachusetts has passed legistlation that automatically triples an employer's liability for unpaid wages, overtime, and minimim  wage violations. The law takes effect in July 2008.

Recent Settlement: In February 2008, Attorney Spencer secured a class-action settlement on behalf of over 1,500 current and former employees of a national retail company, based on the company's failure to pay the employees time-and-a-half for work on Sundays and specified legal holidays.

 

DIRECTIONS

From Route 95 (Canton and points north) or Route 93:

Follow Route 93 South or Route 95 South to the 95/93 Interchange in Canton. Take the exit for Route 95 South.

On Route 95 South, take exit 10 (Coney Street, Sharon/Walpole).

Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Coney Street, which turns into Route 27.

Continue straight on Route 27 to the traffic light in Sharon Center (where you see a bank on your right and a Starbucks across the intersection on your left). One Post Office Square is to the left of Starbucks. Public parking is available on-street and in lots in Sharon Center. The office entrance is behind the building.

From Route 95 (Foxborough and Points South):

Take Route 95 North to Exit 8 (Sharon).

Turn right at the end of the ramp onto South Main Street.

Follow South Main Street appx. 3.25 miles to the traffic light in Sharon Center (where you see a bank on your left and a Starbucks after the intersection on your right). One Post Office Square is to the left of Starbucks. Public parking is available on-street and in lots in Sharon Center. The office entrance is behind the building.

From Route 1 (Norwood and points North):

Follow Route 1 South to Coney Street (at the Walpole Mall).

Turn left onto Coney Street, which turns into Route 27.

Continue straight on Route 27 to the traffic light in Sharon Center (where you see a bank on your right and a Starbucks across the intersection on your left). One Post Office Square is to the left of Starbucks. Public parking is available on-street and in lots in Sharon Center. The office entrance is behind the building.

 

From Route 1 (Foxborough and points South): 

Follow Route 1 North to Coney Street (at the Walpole Mall).

Turn right onto Coney Street, which turns into Route 27.

From Canton, Stoughton, Brockton: 

Follow Route 27 West towards Sharon. (Or, from Canton, take Washington Street to Cobb's Corner and turn right onto Route 27 West.)

At Cobb’s Corner in Canton, Route 27 becomes North Main Street as you enter Sharon. Stay on Route 27/North Main Street until you reach the traffic light in Sharon Center (where you see a Starbucks to your left). One Post Office Square is to the left of Starbucks. Public parking is available on-street and in lots in Sharon Center. The office entrance is behind the building.
